Band 4 Residential Care Worker - Children's Services

We require Band 4 Support Workers for Residential Setting for Children with Disability in Ballymena.   You must be NISCC registered to apply.  Immediate start available.

 

At present shift patterns are (these are subject to change in coming weeks/ months):

 

Nights shift    10pm – 8am weekends and school holidays (10pm – 9.30am during the week when children are at school).

Early shift      7.30am – 3pm

Late shift       1.30pm – 10.30pm

 

Salary Breakdown

Band 4 Mon - Fri 6.00am to 8.00pm - £12.86

Band 4 Unsocial Hrs: M-F 8.00pm-6.00am & Sat (24hr) - £16.72

Band 4 Unsocial Hrs: Sunday & Pub Hol (24hrs) - £20.58

 

CRITERIA

 

•             4 GCSEs (Grades A-C), two of which must include English Language and Mathematics GCSE at Grade C or above or equivalent plus have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with young people in a caring capacity - with a learning disability who present with behaviours that challenge

OR

•             NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or equivalent plus have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with young people in a caring capacity - with a learning disability who present with behaviours that challenge

 

AND

Driving Licence and access to a car.
